Welcome to the website of
Judith Lanza

I'm a high school freshman and love to write poetry and songs, sing and play the piano.

This site contains some of what I've written that I would like to share with you.

Here is my cat, Belle. She loves getting into contained spaces like sinks and boxes. And she really likes water - she jumps into the tub with me when I take a bath and she continually bats her water out of her water dish just to see it splash.

Here's one of my latest poems:

Cold Creek of Heartache

A tear quietly cascading
Down my emotionless face.
Running to a place within my heart,
Thus vanishing from my face.

At the last of its journey,
in a position inside of me;
Resting in a cold creek of heartache
Where at once it is left in peace.

A flowing spring of my pain;
Made up of the tears withheld in me.
Bubbling over the rocks and the sand
Where an emotion called love used to be.

I once used to be.
I once used to feel.
But now everything runs together,
And i no longer live.

In my cold creek of heartache
I let myself pour out.
Forever wishing for what once was,
Forever wondering, why?
