Poems For My Mom:

I didn't keep the dates when I wrote these so I'm not sure how old I was. I usually make cards for my mom and I included these poems in them. The art work is from the cards, too.

Mother's Day:

In a world of beautiful colors
You always stand out.
You're beautiful, wonderful and for this I have no doubt.

You always think before you speak
You're wise or intelligent too
So have a great Mother's Day mom,
And I dedicate my love to you.

I wanted to get you something nice
Something you would like.
Something that would spark your heart
And make you want to cry.

I thought of all my love for you.
Its all that really matters.
I figured that is what I'd give you
Hoping you'd be flattered.

But such a special mom
One just like yourself
Needs a special gift
One that can be seen and felt.

So close your eyes and turn around,
Guess what you will see
So, Happy Mother's Day, mom
This is my gift to you, from me.

Birthday:

I know my years are adding up
And we are growing apart.
but I hope you wont forget us.

I know I'm getting hard to deal with
And you sometimes get mad.
ut I hope you won't forget us.

I may act like my friends are more important.
More important than you.
But don't you ever believe that
Cause there's still things for us to do.

Without my firends,
Without my attitude
Just me and you.

My mom and me
and our dog, Peaches,
and bird, Polly.

You are a once in a lifetime
Once in a million years
there's never another like you
There could never be.

You are a once in a lifetime
A priceless antique
A promise never broken
A promise to me.

You are a once in a lifetime
A unique kind of god
You're th ebest thing of all
You are my mom.

Valentine's Day:

Mom you are my sunshine
You are my happy day
You are the mark in my heart
That I hope won't go away.

Mom you are my sunshine
You are my happy day
So I dedicate my love to you
And that is what I have to say.
