STudio Buttons - Beaded
Most beaded buttons are one of a kind; some are in a series with the same elements, but are unique. If the series is not yet closed, but all shown are purchased, you can request another, at the same price. All are shank style with metal backings. Most are on a 1 1/8" or 1.5" shank button.
All my beaded buttons are back marked using a vibrating pen. They can be worn as pendants or pins, for those wanting to use them as jewelry. In general, I dye my own silk ribbon used in my silk ribbon embroidery.
I can custom make a button for you in any color scheme or theme in a variety of sizes. So when looking for a button for that special Award, contact me for the perfect fit.
Click on any button to see a larger view. This list was getting long so I moved the non-series buttons to another page, but you can access it from the Table of Contents entry below. Also, series and limited ediions already sold are on another page so if you want to see older versions of that set, check out the archive page, too.

Focal glass Phoenix or Dragon (these symbols are on the opposite sides the bead) using glass beads and pearls, on cotton. These are two of the Four Supernatural Spirits in China (the other two are qilin unicorn and tortoise). It is believed when someone sees a phoenix and dragon then he or she will be extremely lucky. Many married couples also keep an image of the dragon and phoenix in their home. The Phoenix represents women and the dragon represents men. The presence of the phoenix and dragon traditionally symbolizes a fruitful marriage blessed with prosperity and success, as well as many male offspring. Dim: on 1.5" shank, measures about 2.25.
