Round Peg In A Square Hole
2010 - April - Crackle Enamel with Gold Leaf
This is the fourth piece of this BJP. In addition to the enamel, I have used glass beads, metal roses, bird and square, Swarovski Crystal sequins, coral and onyx.
The enamel is a special type of liquid enamel that arbitrarily separates into a crackled pattern. I used a clear background and red, pink and black crackle enamel. Then I used a rubber stamp design to apply sizing for a gold leaf detail. The fringe this month is branch fringe.
